The Mia Tribe
The Elpida, or "Hope" bracelet was created in the midst of uncertainty, but it may be worn as a symbol of hope, hope for the hands that wove this delicate bracelet and hope for the hand that wears it. The Hope bracelet is comes in a variety of colors and in varying degrees of sparkle. One size fits all with the slip-knot clasp.
Mia Tribe's mission is to produce products that are local and ethically sourced while empowering the hands that make them. Through community development, their artisans are invited in to be trained, loved, and empowered to live as one new tribe. At each step they are identifying and supporting refugee families through product development. Products are produced in refugee camps, in half way housing, and in their workshop.
Mia means one. Syrian, Nigerian, Iraqi, Iranian and Kurdish all becoming one tribe in Thessaloniki, Greece.
