Mia Tribe is a Greek Social Cooperative Enterprise based in Thessaloniki, Greece, empowering its members to elevate themselves from a state of survival to a state of thriving.
Mia Tribe serves vulnerable people who are victims of domestic violence, victims of human trafficking, asylum seekers, economical migrants, single moms, those living in poverty, and long-term unemployed individuals over 50.
Mia Tribe members design and hand-craft unique jewelry pieces, created with locally- and ethically- sourced materials.
Through community development, their artisans are invited in to be trained, loved, and empowered to live as one new tribe. At each step they are identifying and supporting refugee families through product development. Products are produced in refugee camps, in half way housing, and in their workshop. Syrian, Nigerian, Iraqi, Iranian, and Kurdish are all becoming one tribe in Thessaloniki, Greece. Mia means one.
