Collection: La Promesa Honduras

La Promesa Honduras is a Christian 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in the capital city of Tegucigalpa. LPH is dedicated to strengthening children, families, and communities who are vulnerable or at-risk. In a nation where two-thirds of the population lives in desparete poverty, many encounter staggering hardships. The heart of LPH is to encourage and edify Honduran leaders who step into the space between tragedy and hope and extend tangible affirmations of God's immeasurable love to the least of these (Matthew 25:40).

LPH promotes the well-being and development of children and strengthens families and communities through training, mentoring, and consulting. This includes professional development for community leaders so they can effectively minister to the spiritual, emotional, and psychological needs of local children and families. La Promesa Honduras sponsors trauma-informed counseling, crisis intervention, disability and deaf awareness.

The traditional black and white Lenca Pottery sold by La Promesa is made by local artisans who are paid fairly for their amazing artistry. 100% of the proceeds of the sales of this Honduran pottery goes right back to La Promesa Honduras.
